There are two main types of patients we see, patients who have injured themselves through trauma (sports, work, auto, etc.) and patients who have chronic pain through everyday wear and tear (posture, bio-mechanics, etc). Our model is to integrate and offer the most current treatment methods that best fits the patient presentation. Some of our many techniques are of the following:
GRASTON TECHNIQUE
The use of tools to break soft tissue adhesions, scar tissue, and altered connective tissue to increase blood flow, increase range of motion, promote healing, and increase cellular activity in the region.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE TECHNIQUE
The use of hands to break soft tissue adhesion, scar tissue, and altered connective tissue to increase blood flow, increase range of motion, promote healing, and increase cellular activity in the region.
FASCIAL DISTORTION METHOD
A popular model to heal fascial distortions that limit the role of soft tissue recovery. A deep, slow, guided movement over restricted fascial regions. Since fascia connects all the muscle, tendons, bones, and ligaments, this method has been highly effective with sports injuries and chronic injuries.
CHIROPRACTIC MANIPULATION
A procedure in which trained specialists use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. The goal of chiropractic adjustment is to correct structural alignment and improve your body's physical function.
KINESIOTAPE
A hypo-allergic cotton fiber tape that may be stretched over muscles to increase lymphatics, increase nerve signals, and to decrease the stress on muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Used by many professional athletes, kinesiotape has proven to help improve recovery and function.
REFERALLS
Our clinic works in conjunction with several imaging facilities and specialists. There are a small amount of cases where we may need to use medical imaging or specialist to assist with pain management. Our ability to collaborate closely with medical physicians have helped numerous patients in our office.
